OP-BT / OP-BTS Firmware Downloads

OP-BT and OP-BTS use the same firmware file. You can use the same firmware file for upgrading either OP-BT or OP-BTS devices.

Upgrade Methods

OP-BT and OP-BTS support the following three firmware upgrade methods:

  1. USB Upgrade: Connect the device to your computer with a USB cable for firmware upgrade.
  2. Bluetooth Upgrade: Pair the device using Bluetooth SPP, then upgrade via the virtual serial port.
  3. Optical Probe Dock Upgrade: Use the optical probe dock for upgrading.

Entering Upgrade Mode

  1. When the device is off, press the power button
  2. Within 1 second, press the select button
  3. When the screen enters “Firmware Upgrade” mode, both groups of LEDs will flash red or green
  4. Use the select button to toggle between Bluetooth mode (red LEDs flashing) and Optical Probe mode (green LEDs flashing)

Precautions

  • Be sure to use the correct firmware for your device model (contact us if unsure)
  • Keep the device steady during upgrade
  • Do not disconnect the power during upgrade
  • It is recommended to upgrade with a fully charged battery
  • The device will reboot automatically after the upgrade completes
